Brest is the administrative center of the Brest region and the Brest district as well as a large auto and railway junction. The city is located in the south-west of Belarus, at the confluence of the Mukhavets River in the Western Bug. Brest is at the junction of the borders of three states - Belarus, Ukraine and Poland. The location of Brest determined its historical destiny: the city changed its state membership more than once. Brest is one of the oldest cities in Belarus. The famous national park "Belovezhskaya Pushcha" begins in 60 kilometers from Brest. This is perhaps the most famous sight of Belarus. On the territory of the reserve is the largest remains of the relic primitive plain forest, where rare representatives of the local flora and fauna live.
Gomel is the administrative center of the Gomel region and the district, located in the south-east of the republic, on the Sozh River. It is the second city in the country by population. Mogilev is a city in the east of the country, the administrative center of the Mogilev region and the district. It is located on the picturesque banks of the Dnieper. From the religious buildings preserved the existing Orthodox St. Nicholas nunnery, baroque Catholic Church of St. Stanislaus, cathedral of the Three Saints. The historic center of the city is the pedestrian Leninskaya Street with medieval architecture.
Vitebsk is a city in the north-east of the country, an administrative center of the Vitebsk region and the Vitebsk district. It is located on the river Zapadnaya Dvina. Grodno is a city in the Republic of Belarus, the administrative center of the Grodno region. Located on the banks of the Neman, on the border with Poland and Lithuania. The first mention of Grodno was in 1128 in the Ipatiev Chronicle. Modern architectural development of the city is a mixture of different eras and styles: from the ancient Russian architecture and Gothic to modernism and constructivism.

The climate of Belarus is moderately continental, transitional from marine to continental. Formed under the influence of air masses of the Atlantic. In the winter period, thaws are not uncommon. The most widespread religion in Belarus is Christianity. Christians of Belarus profess Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Uniatism, and Protestantism. Among other religions, the most common are Judaism and Islam.
Belarus is friendly and hospitable people. The patience and peaceful disposition of Belarusians are explained by military historical events, which were not few in the given territory for a long history. Currency and currency exchange
The official currency of the country is the Belarusian ruble (BYN).
